Fleet Air Arm Museum- Albatross
Fly back through time at Australia's largest aviation and regional museum with over 35 aircraft. Stand nose to nose with jets, walk under a DC3 or sit in a cockpit and image yourself as a pilot. The Museum’s hangar full of history takes you on a journey from the first flight in Australia, past the invention of the jet engine to modern military aircraft and flyable planes only recently decommissioned.
There is a cafe overlooking all the action at HMAS Albatross. While eating lunch you might be lucky enough to see a Navy helicopter land, paratroopers fall from the sky or a visiting jet.
