  • Note 1: Selected beaches are patrolled by professional life savers from 9am to 5pm each day during the peak swimming period. The lifeguards will provide supervision between the flags, life saving and rescue services, first aid treatment, information and advice on beach and water safety. Additional beach patrols are provided on a voluntary basis by members of the Surf Life Saving Clubs. These operate from late spring to early autumn on weekends and public holidays between 9am and 5pm
  • There are certain areas set aside as off leash areas for dogs
  • Beach conditions including tide information
  • Beachwatch has results from monitoring water quality at selected locations
For your own safety, please swim only at patrolled beaches.
