Illawarra Academy of Sport
The Illawarra Academy of Sport supports local athletes and provides the community with sport development and education services. The Academy operates through the Illawarra’s geographic region comprising the five local government areas of; Wollongong, Kiama, Shellharbour, Shoalhaven and Wingecarribee.

Strategic plan
Shoalhaven City Council's Sportsgrounds Strategic Plan 2008-2036 (PDF 6.2 MB) guides the provision of future sportsground facilities to meet the needs of the Shoalhaven community up to 2036. 

Development of the Strategic Plan involved consultation with Shoalhaven based sporting clubs, sporting associations, schools, Community Consultative Bodies, relevant Management Committees and the general public.
