There are a number of community facilities which are available for hire:
Community Centres & Public Halls
Shoalhaven City Council has a range of affordable community centres and public halls from Shoalhaven Heads to Bawley Point / Kioloa which provide suitable meeting places for the community to gather to undertake recreational, leisure and community service activities.
Shoalhaven City Arts Centre
The Shoalhaven City Arts Centre offers a range of spaces for hire including a meeting room, an internal timber-decked courtyard and the Gallery itself – available for low key events up to 100 people.
Nowra School of Arts & Annex
The heritage listed Nowra School of Arts and adjacent Annex offer the hirer a range of flexible spaces to suit a wide range of activities.
Nowra Showground
The Nowra Showground, offering panoramic views over the Shoalhaven River, has two charming facilities available with ample parking.
Nowra Library Meeting Room
A room located in the Nowra CBD for use by the community and organisations for short meetings.
Ulladulla Civic Centre
The Civic Centre has a number of rooms available for hire including a meeting room, large auditorium with stage, a lower meeting room / hall and servery for events using caterers.

Cemeteries, crematorium and chapel (new window)
The Bereavement Services website has information about scheduled services, register searches and more.
Bereavement Services manages the lawn cemetery, crematorium and chapel complex set on 40 hectares of natural bushland at Worrigee where approximately 750 services are conducted each year. Council also administers the district’s cemeteries at Nowra, Berry, Kangaroo Valley, West Cambewarra, Conjola and Mollymook (Sandridge Memorial Gardens) and oversees the historical cemeteries at Bellawongarah, Harley Hill (Beach Road, Berry), Numbaa, Old Worrigee, Yalwal, Coolangatta, Warden Family Cemetery, Milton and Woodhill Cemetery, Berry.
