Public amenities

Shoalhaven City Council has over 130 public amenities buildings. The provision of public amenities is an integral part of the provision of other services such as:

  • Sporting venues
  • Beaches
  • Commercial / shopping centres
  • Parks / Reserves

Council has an Asset Management Plan (PDF 574 kb) for all public amenities (toilets). This plan is due for review in 2012 and comments on the public amenities are always welcomed and will be incorporated into the review.

  • Condition and risk assessment
  • Local Government reporting requirements
  • Annual capital works
  • Programmed works
  • Service levels
Works and Services are responsible for:
  • Day to day administration
  • Coordinating cleaning
  • Undertaking reactive maintenance (e.g. water leaks, vandalism, graffiti)
