Free tipping voucher(s) are given to ratepayers each year, and are valid for the year of issue ending July 31. The voucher can be used at any Recycling and Waste Depot at anytime of the year during normal opening hours.

At a non weighbridge site a voucher will entitle the ratepayer to dispose of up to 1 cubic metre which is equivalent to one domestic trailer load per visit. Non weighbridge sites in the Shoalhaven area are at Berry, Bendalong, Sussex Inlet, Kangaroo Valley, Lake Conjola, Kioloa and Callala.

At a weighbridge site a voucher will entitle the ratepayer to dispose of up to 300kg per visit, which is the Environmental Protection Authority standard weight for a trailer load of domestic waste. Weighbridge sites in the Shoalhaven area are at West Nowra, Huskisson and Ulladulla.

The voucher is not redeemable for cash, but can be used in a part payment when the load exceeds the voucher value. No change is given from a voucher.
