Council has 10 waste and recycling depots at various locations throughout the Shoalhaven, which you can see on this

All separated recyclables are accepted free of charge including scrap metal, car bodies, fridges, washing machines, car batteries, & motor oil (up to 20 litres).
Council has Buy Back centres at 8 of its waste and recycling depots, where residents can deliver, free of charge, items the contractor thinks may have a reuse value e.g. old furniture, toys, whitegoods, kitchen and bathroom fittings, some building materials etc.

All depots are closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.
All recycling and waste depots, except Bendalong and Kioloa, are open every day from December 26 to January 31:
- Kioloa transfer station is open 7 days 9am - 3pm from December 26 to January 31. During other school holiday periods it is open 9am - 3pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday
- Bendalong transfer station is open 9am to 5pm Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday from December 26 to January 31
