Development Control Plans (DCP's) are prepared by Council and apply to specific types of development or areas of land and provide detailed development guidelines and controls. DCP’s outline specific controls and parameters that apply to development proposals in Shoalhaven.

In accordance with changes to the planning system in NSW, Council is also currently preparing a single DCP for the City.
