In line with the current NSW Public Health Order Stay-At Home restrictions, Shoalhaven City Council is reminding residents that the Nowra and Ulladulla Administration Offices are closed, and payments can be made online, over the phone, or at their local Australia Post outlet.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley said “residents can pay their rates or water bills in a range of COVID safe ways rather than face-to-face”.
“While the NSW Health Orders are in place residents are reminded there are a variety of accessible ways to make payments without making the trip to town,” Clr Findley said.
“Gone are the days where you need to walk into Council’s Nowra or Ulladulla Administration Offices, as you can now make a payment online or at your local Post Office outlet.
“For some, paying a bill online will be a new experience, and Council’s customer service team can assist with finding the method that best suits your needs.
“I want to acknowledge that the past few months have been challenging for many ratepayers and if you are experiencing challenges, I would encourage you to contact Council and advise them of any problems so arrangements or an agreement can be put in place,” Clr Findley stated.
