About the project

As part of Council’s routine maintenance program, the BMX track at Basin View is undergoing some minor maintenance.
Recent inspections have revealed some degradation in the track surface and that several of the features / jumps no longer align with the track design (pictured).
Minor works will be undertaken to restore the shape of these features and restore a smoother track surface.
Please understand that this work isn’t an upgrade to the track and no changes or improvements are currently planned.
The public is reminded not to alter the track or change the size or steepness of the features. The track is designed to be safe and accessible for a wide variety of users of varying abilities.
Council is in the process of revising its Community Infrastructure Strategic Plan and is keen to hear from the community about the open space and community facilities that matter to you.
The revised Community Infrastructure Strategic Plan will provide a guide to assist Council make strategic decisions on open space and community facilities across the Shoalhaven. The revised CISP will make recommendations for open space and community facilities in the short, medium and long-term and identify funding approaches where relevant.
