Dolphin Point Beach Access Path - Seaside Parade
The Shoalhaven was declared a Natural Disaster Area 14 September 2022 (AGRN 1034) after severe weather and flooding events. this had a major impact on Dolphin Point and surrounding communities, damaging infrastructure and property. As a result of damages, Council is upgrading pedestrian beach access path at Seaside Parade, Dolphin Point.

The latest
21/11/2024 - Works to improve safety and accessibility to the foreshore at Dolphin Point are planned to be delivered through November and December 2024.
Public access will be restricted during the 3 to 4 week works program. Alternate access is available opposite 47-51 Seaside Parade, Dolphin Point.

About the project
Council has secured funding to repair this beach access asset after damage caused by severe weather events.
The works will involve construction of a Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) stepped boardwalk, and implementation of surface drainage measures to manage impacts of erosion on the pedestrian access asset.
Temporary restrictions to public access will be in place during the works program which is anticipated to last 3 to 4 weeks. Alternate Council managed foreshore access is available opposite 47-51 Seaside Parade, Dolphin Point.
