About the project
The north-eastern bank of Millards Creek in front of 39 and 41 Timbs St, Ulladulla deteriorated significantly during the storm events in 2022.
The proposed restoration works involve minor vegetation clearing, excavation, placement of rock rip rap to the creek bed and batter and revegetation.

History
- 06/03/2024 - Rock placement in creek bed and batter is complete. Placement of fill and geocell on batter is in progress.
- 20/02/2024 - Rock placement in creek bed and batter is nearing completion. Earthworks behind rock batter are commencing.
- 17/01/2024 - Works have commenced.
- December 2023 Update - The contract for the works has been awarded. Contractor pre-works documentation and Fisheries permit is in progress. Works to commence mid-January and are expected to be complete by the end of February 2024.
- November 2023 Update - Tenders have been evaluated and the contract should be awarded in the next few weeks.
- Council is currently tendering these works with construction to take place later in 2023 pending a favorable outcome from the tender process.
