28/07/2023 - Works to repair the damaged sections of road have been completed.

About the works

16/05/2023 - Works to repair the damaged sections of road have been approved by Transport NSW with Council contribution and will be undertaken by Council's Roads Unit in the coming weeks.

06/04/2023 - A quotation for ground investigations and pavement designs has been issued. Once complete, pavement designs will be submitted to Transport NSW for scope of work and funding approval.

23/03/2023 - A quotation for ground investigations and pavement designs will be issued in April 2023 prior to submitting to Transport NSW for scope of work and funding approval.

02/03/2023 - A Geotechnical Engineer is being engaged to carry out pavement investigation works.

A Geotechnical consultant has been engaged to commence sampling and testing works to inform the repair method. Field work is currently being carried out. Following geotechnical investigations and approval of the scope of work by Transport NSW, works will be tendered for construction.
