Matron Porter Drive - Milton - Footpath Landslip

1/10/2024 - The Tender has been awarded to Killmac Civil. Establishment to site and preliminaries start Wednesday 2 October 2024. Construction is expected to start Tuesday 8 October 2024 with completion of works expected the first week in November 2024. 

26/8/2024 - Tender has been awarded for these works with construction expected to start late September 2024, weather permitting.

25/7/2024 - Tender for construction has closed and tender submissions have been reviewed. Tender is expected to be awarded early in August 2024.

05/07/24 - Tender submissions for this project and construction have closed and been reviewed. Tender is expected to be awarded in late July 2024.

18/6/2024 Tender for construction has now closed, with tender submissions currently under review. Tender is expected to be awarded in late July 2024.

6/6/2024 - Tender for construction has now closed, with tender submissions currently under review. Tender is expected to be awarded in early July 2024.

29/02/2024 - Design expected to be finalised by early March. Tenders for construction to be advertised by late March with works expected to be undertaken in second half of 2024.

• 19/10/2023 - Bore hole testing will be conducted on site at Matron Porter Drive during October 2023 by SLR Consulting.

• 14/09/2023 - SLR Geotechnical consultants have been appointed to undertake detailed investigation and design for the landslip and footpath remediation. Investigation works are expected to commence on site in late September.

• 06/09/2023 - An initial geotechnical investigation has been carried out to determine the likely cause of the failure and possible options. Quotations are being prepared to appoint a geotechnical specialist to develop formal designs to be incorporated into a reconstruction tender.
