27/08/2024 - The bridge and road are open for use. Sealing of the road will occur next month.
06/08/2024 - The bridge deck and approach slab have been poured. Construction of the road approaches and installation of the guardrail is in progress. This is expected to be completed by the 23rd with the road to be sealed in the following week and opened to traffic prior to the end of the month.
16/07/2024 - Abutment construction is complete. Scour protection has been installed. Bridge girders have been installed. Bridge deck construction in progress.
25/06/2024 - Demolition of existing bridge deck is complete. Piling is complete. Abutment construction in progress.
13/06/2024 - Works have commenced. Demolition of existing bridge in progress.
27/05/2024 - NEW START DATE = 11/06/2024.
May 2024 Update - Wet weather has pushed back start date. Expected to commence on 29 May 2024.
April 2024 Update - Construction expected to commence on 13/05/2024. Refer to Resident Notification Letter for further details.
March 2024 Update - The design & construct contract for the works has been awarded. The final design is complete. Construction expected to start on site late-April 2024.
January 2024 Update - The design & construct contract for the works has been awarded. The final design is complete. Construction expected to start on site late-April 2024.
June 2023 Update - Tender Process commencing in July 2023 for a Design and Construct contract. The awarded contractor to undertake proposed work will be engaged in the Spring of 2023, with design and construction to commence shortly thereafter.
