About the works

Woodstock Road is a high-speed road (80km/hr) providing access to the localities west of Ulladulla including Woodburn, Morton, Shallow Crossing and tourist attractions including Pigeon House Mountain. Recent natural disasters have caused rapid road deterioration of the seal and pavement layers at many locations over a 10km range, creating significant challenges for Council.

With the damage so extensive across the region Council is being forced to prioritise roads and hold some roads such as this road, in as safe a condition as possible until works can be determined, approved and assigned. Several sections of road have been reduced to 40km/hr due to rough surface conditions.
