Statement
"This artwork in acrylic depicts the earth transforming from a fire ball, to flood ravaged land and eventually turning into a covid cell. Fires - It was 2020 when the smoke drifted through my backyard. Ashes were falling from the sky like pouring rain. We sprayed the lawns and packed our bags getting ready to leave home. The power was out and everyone was panicking. That sure hit everyone hard. We were having to spray the embers on our lawn so they did not ignite. Floods - People's houses and lives were suddenly whisked away with a click of a finger. It was raining everywhere and some people were not even at school because of the danger of getting stuck. COVID19 - People were suddenly stuck indoors with a computer right in front of their face. No one was allowed outside for non essential things. It was the headline in every newspaper, radio and news station. It was sure annoying being stuck with 6 other kids knocking around my house because they had not been outside for ages. Hopefully we've been through the worst because it was hard for everyone not just me."
