Statement

"I made this art work to reflect on 2020 and what happened through my view. The book, pencil, eraser and drawing represent the exploding amount of creativity I had during 2020 and finding a new hobby. The fire, dead/burning plants represent the bushfires at my home, Nowra. The chain of covid and cuff represents how I felt trapped during the pandemic. The waves represents flooding. The birds represent trying to escape and get back to normal, and the mask also represents the pandemic."
