Effectiveness, motivations, and operations of volunteer Bushcare groups in the Shoalhaven: Implications for sustaining community biodiveristy management 2013 (PDF 2MB)
Shoalhaven City Council has supported community restoration within the Local Government Area for over 25 years. There are around 60 groups and 700 volunteers registered in Bushcare. This report provided information to Shoalhaven City Council about the difference community volunteer work has made to biodiversity, threatened flora and fauna and endangered communites. It includes an assessment of the impact on the behaviour, knowledge and biodiversity values of of those actively working on sites in the Shoalhaven area.
