See what we do! (This event has now passed)

The Shoalhaven Environmental Expo was a day of entertainment, involvement and discovery.

It was a free event held at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 30^th May  2017

Visitors on the day were able to find out about recycling, composting, resource recovery, energy reduction, water saving, effluent treatment, biodiversity and more!

There were interactive displays and workshops all designed to encourage you to take simple actions to protect the beautiful local environment.

Local community groups were on hand to chat about their sustainable activities. Visitors could find out how to connect locally and reduce our ecological footprint together.

The Expo was designed to encourage Shoalhaven residents to learn how to help shape tomorrow into a healthier and more sustainable future!

Weaving Works of Wonder: Lissa de Sailles

Join Lissa as she creates sculptural pieces of art using old twine, plastics, electrical cord and other waste otherwise destined for landfill. No need to book, just drop in.
