Council’s on-call pick up service can be used to dispose of your excess bulky household items.
The service is offered to residents across the Shoalhaven.*
A valid no-charge tipping voucher can be used as payment for a service at pickup.**
Payment must be made at the time of booking or collection.

- Old furniture
- Bikes & toys
- Any general household items
Steps to arranging your pick up;
1. Contact the Council or visit the Council Administration offices in Nowra or Ulladulla.
By phone – ph (02) 4429 5681, email G&B@shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au or fill in a collection form at the front counter of the Council office in Nowra or Ulladulla.
Also check with the Council staff about what materials can be put out for collection.
2. Where to leave the material for pickup:
Leave your bulky household clean up items for collection just outside the fence or boundary, but not on the footpath or too close to the road in front of your property. Placing the material on the grass verge too close to the road may mean other residents will add to it and the pile will grow.
Paying for your on-call bulky waste service
The service costs $68.00 per cubic metre (the equivalent of a level 6x4 trailer load) payment options include:
Credit card directly at the time of booking (02) 4429 5681
Valid no-charge tipping voucher, presented at the time of collection.
Cash or Cheque pre-payment at Council Offices at Nowra or Ulladulla.
Check with the Council at the time of booking the service about the methods of payment.

** The no charge tipping vouchers are issue with your rates. Rate payers receive two vouchers per annum. The vouchers are only valid from1 August until 31 July (financial year).
