These caravan parks and camping grounds are inspected by council's Environmental Health Officers on an annual basis to ensure compliance with the Local Government (Manufactured Home Estates, Caravan Parks, Camping Grounds and Moveable Dwellings) Regulation 2005.

Caravan parks, camping grounds and manufactured homes need approval under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act with operational approval required under the Local Government Act.
Do I need approval to install structures in a caravan park or camping ground
Any installation of relocatable homes, annexes or associated structures (i.e.; any structure other than caravans, campervans or tents) that are to be installed on flood liable land require the prior approval of Council.
Any installation of relocatable homes of more than one storey requires the prior approval of Council whether it is located on flood liable land or not.
