Keep out of both your kerbside bins. Fire extinguishers can explode in collection vehicles or receiving facilities. Fire extinguishers that end up in landfill can leak toxic materials into waterways and ecosystems.

How/where to dispose of it
Dispose of at a Community Recycling Centre located at all Council's recycling and waste depots.
Will it cost anything to get rid of?
No. Disposal is free for domestic quantities.
What happens to it after we receive it?
They will be collected by contractors who will dispose of the contents appropriately. The can will be recycled for scrap metal.
