Milk containers include hard plastic, cardboard, Tetra-pak and glass.

Before you throw it out

Remove lid. Find out what to do with lids here.

Empty contents. Remove excess milk with a quick rinse of used dishwater.

How/where to dispose of it

Recycle via the yellow lid bin.

Hard plastic, cardboard and glass containers can be recycled via Council's recycling and waste depots.

Will it cost anything to get rid of?

No.

What happens to it after we receive it?

All containers are separated at the receiving facility. They are then sent to plastic, cardboard or glass recyclers to be made into new products.
