Keep out of both your kerbside bins and never flush down drains or toilets. Oils can contaminate waterways which can have adverse affects on human, animal and plant life.
Before you throw it out
Keep stored in a sealed container.
How/where to dispose of it
Dispose of at a Community Recycling Centre located at all Council's recycling and waste depots.
Will it cost anything to get rid of?
No. Disposal is free for domestic quantities. (Maximum 20 litres).
What happens to it after we receive it?
Used oils are processed to become a lubricant or recycled into biofuels.
