How/where to dispose of it

Dispose of at Council’s recycling and waste depots.

Will it cost anything to get rid of?

Yes. Disposal costs apply.

What happens to it after we receive it?

Tyres are converted into a rubber crumb material via our processing plant at West Nowra recycling and waste depot. This material is sold to manufacturers to be made into road paving, artificial turf and playground surfaces.
