
Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Nowra is located in central Nowra at 12 Berry Street, Nowra - next door to Shoalhaven Library and opposite Nowra School of Arts. The gallery serves as an exciting artistic hub for the Shoalhaven Region. Each year welcomes a vibrant exhibition program featuring both contemporary and traditional works, a diverse range of touring exhibitions by leading Australian and Shoalhaven artists, Community based exhibitions and works from the Shoalhaven City Art Collection. Exhibitions change every six to eight weeks through four gallery spaces; East, Access, Foyer and Main.
Shoalhaven Regional Gallery prides itself on fostering dynamic Public Programs. It presents art, cultural and community events aimed at audience development, accessibility and education, for the use and enjoyment of the entire community. Our Gallery Shop supports local artists and artisans with an eclectic array of unique gifts. With four spaces available to hire for your business needs and special events we can cater for your event.
The Shoalhaven Regional Gallery is a member of the Regional & Public Galleries Association of NSW and is registered with the Cultural Gifts Program of the Australian Government.

NOW Contemporary Art Prize 2019
NOW Contemporary is the biggest biennial visual arts prize on the South Coast. With a prize pool of more than $10,000, this prize will attract artists of note from across NSW and Australia. Shoalhaven Arts Board - Arts Practitioners Professional Development Grants - 2019
Applications are now open for a one-off Grants program. Grants of up to $3,000 are available for activities that support individual artists, arts workers and/or small groups to further develop and enhance their skill-set, connect with peers and build sustainable careers through professional development activities. Indigenous artists are encouraged to apply. Volunteers
If you would like to be a volunteer and become active in the arts in our City, there are many tasks and activities in which you can be involved. These include gallery sitter, guide, assisting in hanging exhibitions, newsletter mail-outs and reception duties.
