Council’s Community Halls will temporarily be unavailable for hire, as Council adheres to the Federal Health Department’s regulations. This includes buildings at showgrounds, community sporting facility building, public halls, community centres and School of Arts. Council has decided to close all Community Halls in line with current health regulations regarding social distancing. The health and well-being of our customers is always at the forefront of our mind, and we want to ensure their safety.
In compliance with the Government's Public Health Order effective 26 March 2020, all community facility caravan parks and camping grounds are closed immediately, except for the purposes of persons who have no other place of permanent residence, and their visitors.
Self-isolation is not allowed. People who need to self-isolate must do so at a hotel or at their home.
All camping bookings will be cancelled and refunded for a period of 2 months, until 31 May 2020. Future bookings may also be affected.
