The Community Development Officer, Ageing and Disability, co-ordinates activities for Seniors Week each year.

NSW Seniors Festival
4th to 15th April 2018
Shoalhaven City Council will be publishing and promoting a Calendar of Events for activities being held within the Shoalhaven during Seniors Festival. To be eligible for inclusion in the calendar your activity must be free or low cost for Seniors to attend or participate in. To help fund your event financial assistance of up to $300 is available to not for profit community based organisations. If you would like to apply for funding assistance, please complete and return the attached Seniors Festival Application Form. Please refer to the Seniors Festival Grants Program Objectives and Guidelines for eligibility. Shoalhaven City Council will also be hosting ‘Backyard Tours’ offering Seniors a chance to explore opportunities to get involved in their communities. Priority will be given to people who are transport disadvantaged. Keep an eye out for registrations. Let’s make Seniors Festival 2018 the biggest and best yet!
