Celebrating Our Seniors
The Shoalhaven is preparing for the upcoming Seniors Festival, with multiple events being held around the region. Seniors events in the Shoalhaven are part of a state-wide celebration, which is the largest festival for seniors in the Southern Hemisphere. Fencing Assistance for Shoalhaven Bushfire Affected Farmers
Shoalhaven farmers who have suffered fencing damage as a result of the Currowan bushfire can now receive help to rebuild those fences with the assistance of volunteer organisation Blaze Aid.   Shoalhaven City Council have invited Blaze Aid to set up a basecamp at Milton Showground - 107 Croobyar Road, Milton and will use the area as their headquarters for the duration of the project. The bushfires continue to impact the capability to provide waste services across the Shoalhaven. The Emergency Operations Centre is working closely with the RFS to support our community and assist in the recovery following yesterdays significant fire event. All agencies have assessment teams are on the ground and working hard to restore power, communications and access for our community.
