Shoalhaven City Council is inviting residents to have their say on the draft Nowra CBD Fringe Medium Density Study Background Report and Recommendations Report that will be on public exhibition from Wednesday, 18 April.
Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley is encouraging the Shoalhaven to get involved either by viewing the public exhibition document or by attending the upcoming community workshop.
“This study includes both a review and general analysis of the existing character of the Nowra CBD residential fringe area, and provides recommendations for suitable mechanisms to maintain this character whilst facilitating the development of an appropriate mix of densities and high-quality housing,” Cl Findley said.
“As part of the public exhibition period, a workshop will be held outlining the recommendations and consider how they could encourage a mix of density and high-quality housing, whilst respecting the existing character of the Nowra CBD.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, 26 April 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Council’s Nowra Administration Building. Places are limited and registrations are required. contact Molly on 4429 3596 by COB Monday, 23 April 2018.
