Lake Conjola Pilot Channel Maintenance Works

Shoalhaven City Council will be conducting Pilot Channel Maintenance Works at Lake Conjola commencing Monday, 7 January 2019. We request residents and visitors stay clear of the vicinity whilst Council staff are undertaking these works.

The Lake Conjola catchment is saturated and further rainfall forecast for the next several days according to the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting.

Based on the rainfall forecast and the peak holiday period, Council is organising maintenance works to be conducted to the existing pilot channel that was constructed under the planned opening provisions of the Entrance Management Plan.

Council is advising if moderate to heavy rainfall is not received in the catchment, it is highly likely that the entrance will close in the short term.
