Council receives NSW Active Transport Grants

Shoalhaven City Council has received more than $525,000 worth of funding through the NSW Active Transport Fund.

Shoalhaven City Council Mayor Amanda Findley said the funding is a great step in creating an active, healthy livable Shoalhaven.

“I would like to thank Shelley Hancock MP for this substantial boost to the Shoalhaven’s infrastructure that includes improvements to shared pathways and pedestrian accessibility,” Cl Findley said.

“These new improvements will assist Council in building connected communities and improve walking and cycling in these towns and villages.

“It’s wonderful to see the linking of our existing pathway networks in both St George’s Basin, Swanhaven, Ulladulla, and West Nowra”
