Nowra Library Repaint

Shoalhaven City Council’s treasured Nowra library will undergo a facelift with a complete repaint of its exterior starting on Monday the 20th of May. The library has had the same exterior colours for the last 30 years and is now showing the need for an upgrade.

The new colours will reflect the branding of Nowra Library by including the eye-catching red that is seen in its logo. After some years of refurbishing the inside of the library, now the exterior needs attention.

Painters will be at the library between 7 am and 3 pm and the job will take approximately three weeks.

There should be little disruption to the public and carpark behind the library, and the painters will ensure the least amount of disruption whilst painting during busy times.

Library Services Manager Sarah Taylor says “We are looking forward to the new paintwork. The library is well overdue for a facelift and we will do all can to prevent any inconvenience to our borrowers and hope they are happy with the results.”
