Community groups across the Shoalhaven are encouraged to apply for funding under the ClubGRANTS program.

Category 1 of the program will be accepting applications from Saturday 1 February and supports welfare and social services, community development, employment assistance activities, health services, and projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

Local community groups that have previously benefited from ClubGRANTS funding include:

  • Supported Accommodation & Homelessness Services Shoalhaven Illawarra (SAHSSI)
  • Milton Ulladulla Men’s Shed
  • Culburra Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade
  • Nowra Youth Centre
  • Shoalhaven Education Fund

ClubGRANTS is one of Australia’s largest grant programs, providing more than $100 million in cash each year to a variety of groups and causes, including sporting organisations, charities and not-for-profit bodies, across New South Wales.

Council is a member of the Shoalhaven Local Committee which supports in facilitating and administering the application process for grants in Category 1 across the city.

The Committee also includes representatives from the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District, Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services, and registered local licensed clubs.

ClubGRANTS applications can be lodged online via the Clubs NSW website from 1 February until 31 May 2025.

For more information visit Council’s Community Grants page or speak to your registered local licensed club.
