COVID-19 Update: 24 June 2021
Published on 24 June 2021
NSW Health has advised that anyone who has been in Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong or Shellharbour in the last 14 days must wear a mask, Council recognises that this will impact a large number of people in our community.
In response to this Public Health Order, Council is requesting that all visitors to our indoor facilities (aged 12 years and over) wear a mask. Council buildings include the Shoalhaven City Council administration buildings, libraries, gallery, Sport Swim Fitness facilities, community halls, emergency management buildings etc. from 9am tomorrow, Friday 25 June 2021.
This is the only instance where we differ from the NSW Public Health Order.
If you need a mask, Council staff will have them available for you on site.
In addition, there will be No Entry to Council buildings for those living in the 7 local government areas (LGAs) identified by NSW Health until further advised. These LGAs include (see these on the NSW Health map):
- City of Sydney
- Waverley
- Randwick
- Canada Bay
- Inner West
- Bayside
- Woollahra
