From Sunday 27 December until Wednesday 30 December the NSW Health Public Health (Northern Beaches) 2020, including ‘stay at home’ rules continue. Under the ‘stay at home’ rules you are only permitted to leave your home for certain reasons.
The ‘stay at home’ rules affects:
- people who are currently living or staying in the Northern Beaches
- people who were living or staying in the Northern Beaches area at any time between Thursday 10 December 2020 at 12.01am and Saturday 19 December 2020 at 5.02pm.
If you left the Northern Beaches at any time after Thursday 10 December 2020, you must comply with the stay at home rules applicable to Northern Beaches residents for 14 clear days after you left the Northern Beaches.
NSW Health are urging the community to continue to play their role in controlling the spread, by getting tested if symptoms develop, practising physical distancing and good hand hygiene, and by wearing a mask, particularly indoors.
