Community Consultative Policy Review
Published on 19 January 2023
Have your say on the guidelines for the Conduct of Community Consultative Bodies (CCB).
Community consultation is an important part of decision making and Council employs a variety of methods to actively engage our communities. One way we consult with the community is through a two-way communication process with organisations recognised by Council as CCBs.
The CCBs are community groups that are formally recognised as being responsible for representing the residents and ratepayers of a given area. The operation of CCBs is governed by the now-called Community Consultative Bodies Policy.
Council is now reviewing the policy, so they are relevant and effective and reflect the current operating environment.
Please provide your feedback by 5pm Monday 6 March.
