Australia’s largest social research project is back, and Council would like the voices of the Shoalhaven community to be heard.
Launched on National Neighbour Day this Sunday 30 March, the Liveability Census asks residents to reflect on the issues that matter most to local communities and consider how Shoalhaven’s towns and villages compare to others across the country.
Whether it's more shops, parking, access to green spaces, or improving public safety, everyone’s opinions will help guide decision making and contribute to national research on liveability.
Since 2019, over 80,000 people have completed Place Score’s Liveability Census survey.
When Council participated in 2023, more than 570 residents completed the survey to share their thoughts about the city. The results have since been shared with all levels of government to help guide strategy and prioritise local, state and national projects.
This year, Place Score is offering participants the chance to win a $1,000 shopping voucher, or one of 40, $100 vouchers that can be used at more than 200 businesses.
Complete the online survey between 30 March and 30 June 2025 to go in the draw to win.
