Shoalhaven residents are invited to have their say on a draft document that outlines how Council will engage with the community about land use planning and development matters.

The draft Shoalhaven Community Participation Plan for Planning and Development Matters (CPP) sets out community participation opportunities and explains how and when communities will be involved in matters relating specifically to the organisation’s land use planning and development functions.

The document has been prepared in accordance with the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment (EP&A) Act 1979. The CPP was first prepared and adopted by Council in 2019 and is now under review.

Once finalised, the revised plan will be incorporated with Council’s broader Community Engagement Strategy and Framework.

The draft plan is now on public exhibition until 5pm Friday 14 March 2025 and feedback can be provided by completing a survey on Council’s Get Involved webpage

Written submissions can also be lodged via post or email and via a form on Council’s Documents on Exhibition website.
