Watch and Act: Booderee Fire (Shoalhaven LGA)

NSW RFS - Shoalhaven is advising that firefighters, supported by aircraft including a Large Air Tanker, are working to control the fire burning to the east of Caves Beach Road, to the south west of Jervis Bay Airport. Crews are undertaking back burning operations, which may cause more smoke to visible in the area.

Those in the area, particularly near Wreck Bay Village and Jervis Bay Village should monitor conditions, follow their bush fire survival plan, and follow the advice of firefighters in the area.

Booderee National Park is closed. Visitors are advised to avoid the area and follow the advice of firefighters onsite.
