Mollymook Recycling Collection Schedule Changes

Attention all Mollymook Beach residents.

Has your kerbside recycling date changed? From 1 July we start our new kerbside recycling collection schedule and streets north of Mollymook Creek, in Mollymook Beach, will be affected by a change in date.

Read on to see if your street is affected and what your new collection date will be.

Shoalhaven City Council, in collaboration with its Waste collection contractor Suez, has reviewed the daily waste and recycling kerbside bin collection schedule in order to improve the quality of the service. A minimal number of changes will be implemented for better productivity, lower chance for missed services, optimised proximity of backup vehicles, and greater consistency in bin delivery and repair services.

From July 1, Shoalhaven City Council’s kerbside waste collection schedule commences with some changes for residents in the Mollymook Beach area ONLY. In recent days, property owners would have received a letter from Council’s contractor Suez advising of changes and this notification is a courtesy reminder for all residents in the area that will be affected.

The change of date affects the yellow lid recycling bin only. There is no change to the red lid landfill bin.

You will receive your scheduled fortnightly collection on Monday 29th June 2020.

The first collection date in July for the yellow lid recycling bin is Monday 6  July, as part of AREA 1. Going forward from this date, the recycling bin will continue to be collected every fortnight on the Monday. Please ensure bins are placed on the kerbside, at least 1 metre apart, on the night before your collection.
