Before the new Nowra Bridge opens to traffic, the community is invited to take a commemorative walk across the bridge to mark this historic moment for the Shoalhaven.
Join us on Thursday 23 February from 5:30pm for a 6pm opening ceremony. You’re welcome to begin the walk from both the northern and southern sides of the Shoalhaven River.
You can walk, ride or take a free shuttle bus to the event as parking nearby is extremely limited. TfNSW will be running free shuttle buses through North Nowra, Bomaderry and the Nowra CBD. A map showing the routes and stops will be available on the TfNSW website in the lead up to the event.
