Shoalhaven Regional Gallery has installed a new contactless Donation Point Tap terminal recently, for visitors wanting to contribute a donation and support the exhibition program at the Gallery.
The Donation Point Tap terminal, produced by Quest Payment Systems, provides a simple contactless and cashless solution for tax-deductible donations allowing patrons to make their donation safely.
Shoalhaven Mayor Amanda Findley said, “Providing a contactless donation option is especially important during COVID, to protect everyone’s health. The Donation Point Tap system is successfully in use by a number of galleries and arts organisations across Australia.
“Free entry to the Gallery for visitors is so important for all members of the Shoalhaven community to have access to exhibitions and events. Providing a cashless donation option will hopefully ensure this can continue,” said Clr Findley.
Shoalhaven Arts Board Chairman, Clr John Wells said, “I encourage visitors to make use of Donation Point Tap to support our Shoalhaven Regional Gallery.
“Donations go towards growing the exhibition and events program, and help the Gallery continue to deliver outstanding exhibitions for the Shoalhaven. I encourage all visitors to the Gallery to use the tax-deductible donation option where possible,” said Clr Wells.
Hosting vibrant contemporary and traditional exhibitions and events programs continues to be the focus for Shoalhaven Regional Gallery.
