Shoalhaven Sports Board Welcomes Five New Members

Five new members have been appointed to the Shoalhaven Sports Board following an Expression of Interest (EOI) process held earlier in the year.
Shoalhaven City Council Council called for EOI for five members, with emphasis on applicants from Indigenous Sporting Groups and Accessible Sporting Groups Representative to the Shoalhaven Sports Board.
The Shoalhaven Sports Board meets quarterly and provides advocacy for the sporting community on policy direction and strategic planning related to Council’s objectives.
Council received nine applications featuring a high calibre of applicants over two rounds of EOI.
During a recent Board meeting the Shoalhaven Sports Board endorsed the appointment of the following members:
- Kristina Pejkovic (new member)
- Tameka Gogerly (new member)
- Lucy Burgmann (new member)
- Liz Tooley (existing member)
- Dr Phill Newlyn (existing member)
These new and existing members will work with Council and the other members of the Sports Board to deliver strategic sporting outcomes for the Shoalhaven.
The remaining board members are as follows:
- David Goodman (Chair)
- Roger Walker
- Elaine Caswell
- Elizabeth Tooley
- Gemma Afflick
- Martin Aicken
- Craig Howsan
