Shoalhaven Walking on Country Video Promotion

Shoalhaven City Council will be overseeing a new video promotion that aims to capture the Spirit of Country through the eyes of Aboriginal community members of the Shoalhaven. The videos will be promoted via Shoalhaven City Council’s social media platforms, on Council’s websites and will be shown at Council events.
The Tender process has been finalised and the successful tenderer, Blackfisch Films Pty Ltd has been engaged.
Blackfisch Films will be working collaboratively with the community to develop content for the video promotion. The video aims to express the significance of the land for Aboriginal people and communicates the connection that Aboriginal people feel to Country as a link between all aspects of Aboriginal people existence, their identity, spirituality, family, culture, beliefs and language.
Pre-production is scheduled to being in September 2019, with completion estimated by the end of December 2019.
