Update on the Re-opening of Council Facilities and Venues

A number of Shoalhaven City Council facilities and venues will re-open from next week, in accordance with the NSW Public Health Orders, following the State’s COVID vaccination double dose rate reaching 70% earlier this week.
Eased restrictions will allow those who are fully vaccinated against COVID to access more Council facilities and services from Monday, including:
- Shoalhaven Libraries in Nowra, Sanctuary Point and Ulladulla will re-open to reduced operating hours. Click, Call and Collect, Doorstep Library and Home Library service will remain available to those unvaccinated. Milton Library will re-open from Wednesday 13 October to varied hours. Our Mobile Library will resume as per normal timetable.
- Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre will support meetings, events, funerals, wakes, and ticketed performances in accordance with public health orders. Currently due to border restrictions all scheduled shows and events have been postponed or cancelled until the first week of December 2021. The Box Office will re-open to normal operating hours or can be contacted by phone on 02 4429 5757.

Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre’s Encore Café will re-open to normal operating hours to those who are fully vaccinated against COVID. The Pop-up Café located at Nowra Administration Building will remain closed. Encore catering will also resume operations.

All Shoalhaven Swim Sport Fitness Centres’ will re-open to varied operation hours, including indoor and outdoor pools and gyms. Learn to swim and squad programs will commence from Monday 25 October.

Visitor Information Services located at Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre will re-open to normal operating hours.
From Monday 11 October, Holiday Haven Parks will re-open to the public who are permitted to travel.
Operations at Council’s Bereavement Services will continue under new limits in accordance with the Public Health Order.
From Tuesday 12 October, Shoalhaven Regional Art Gallery will re-open to normal operation hours for those fully vaccinated against COVID.
As previously announced, from Monday 11 October 2021 the Customer Service Counter at Nowra Administration Office will re-open to the public with normal operating hours. Thanks in advance for understanding not all services are available in person as we begin to transition our workforce back to working in the office. Please call Customer Service on 1300 293 111 if there is a staff member you would like to talk to in person, they will be able to advise on how to contact Council staff whether it’s online or in person.
The community are reminded to follow the specific conditions of entry to each Council facility or venue. This includes checking in using the Service NSW App, showing proof of vaccination via COVID-19 Digital Certificate or Immunisation History Statement and wearing a mask indoors. Some exemptions apply.
