45 Degree Rule Exemption for tree removal

The 45 Degree Rule Exemption has been in place since 2004 and allows the removal
of trees in urban areas without Council consent, subject to certain criteria.
The proposed trial changes follow a range of feedback provided by the community
and industry through time. The proposal includes refinement of terminology and
some additional criteria.

Open Coast and Jervis Bay Coastal Management Program

Council’s adopted Citywide Coastal Management Program (CMP) Scoping Study (August 2020) recommended that the Open Coast and Jervis Bay required Coastal Management Programs. St Georges Basin Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan

The St Georges Basin Floodplain Risk Management Study will use the flood information developed in the St Georges Basin Flood Study (Cardno, 2022) to investigate possible harm reduction options to reduce the impact of floods, and to help manage the risk of floods in the future.

Lower Shoalhaven River Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan

The Lower Shoalhaven River Floodplain Risk Management Study will use the flood information developed in the Lower Shoalhaven River Flood Study (Cardno, 2022) to investigate possible harm reduction options that will reduce the impact of floods and help to manage the risk of flooding in the future.
