Important information

making a change to a waste or recycling service will result in an increase or decrease to the yearly rate charges for the property - check bin sizes and costs here
for vacant land or residential properties located in an urban area, a waste charge may continue to apply after cancellation

Please note: Changes to waste and recycling services may only be made by the owner, strata manager or managing agent of the property.

Check if you are eligible

You must be the property owner, strata manager or managing property agent in order to be eligible to complete this request.

If you are not eligible, you will need to request that the property owner, strata manager or managing property agent completes the request instead.

Step 1.You will receive a confirmation email about your submission

Make sure you check your spam folder if it doesn't appear in your inbox.

Step 2.We will action your request

Once a cancellation request is submitted, we will arrange for Veolia (Council's contractor) to collect the bins within five (5) working days. We will contact you via your chosen contact method with important instructions about your bin request (e.g. pickup day).

Step 3.We will send you an amended rates notice

After your service request has been completed, an amended rates notice will be sent to the property owner with the new rate instalments.
