Report an abandoned or stray bin

If you notice that a waste bin has been placed on your property that does not belong to your residence, or if there is a Council waste bin abandoned on public land (e.g. a park, school grounds, etc.), report it here.

Steps to report

Before you start

Step 1.Check for a serial number

There is usually a number printed or stamped onto the side of the bin, this can help us in identifying where the bin came from.

Step 2.Check for noticeable marks or stamps

Take note of any marks or stamps on the bin that we can use to identify the bin.
